Ensat inserts and machined surfaces: height inspection

Heights of Ensat inserts and their surrounding machined surfaces.

The challenge

A height difference can concern the insert or the nearby machined plane. The customer needed to assess both geometries, distinguishing an insert projecting too far or sitting too low from a surface outside its reference.

The inspection

Imago measures heights in the specified insert areas and on machined surfaces. Inspection compares these values with format requirements, checking the relationship between the insert and surrounding plane.
