Data controller
The data controller is Imago S.r.l., Via Tangenziale Ovest, 27/C, 25045 Castegnato (BS), Italia, P.IVA / C.F. 03169510983. For any personal data request, write to privacy@imagovision.it.
Scope of this notice
This notice describes processing connected with www.imagovision.it, its forms and the Imago newsletter, under Arts. 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law. External websites reached through links, including social networks and demos, have their own notices: linking does not embed those services in this website.
What data we process
- Browsing data. Like every web server, the servers hosting the website log the IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring site and technical browser information. They are needed to run and secure the website.
- Contact form. Name, email, the message and any attachment (for example photos or descriptions of the part to inspect) you choose to send us.
- Newsletter. Your email address and your consent to receive commercial communications.
- Statistics. Only with your consent: usage data collected by Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, duration, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location).
- External content. Only when you load a YouTube video or the Google map: the technical data your browser sends to Google to display them.
Please do not send special categories of data (for example health data) through the forms.
Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your requests sent through the contact form or by email: pre-contractual steps at your request when the enquiry concerns a contract to which you are a party (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for information requests and contacts on behalf of your company, our legitimate interest in managing correspondence and professional relationships (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Newsletters and commercial communications: specific, optional consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), separate from the contact form and revocable at any time.
- Website security and operation, including spam and form-abuse prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Aggregate visit statistics with Google Analytics 4: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
- YouTube videos and the Google map: consent, given in the cookie preferences or by clicking the single item (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
- Legal obligations and protection of rights: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f)).
Without the data required by each form the request cannot be sent through the website; you can always write to us directly. Providing form data is voluntary: required fields are needed to handle the request, while attachments are optional. Newsletter consent is not needed to receive a reply. Rejecting non-essential cookies still allows browsing; external content remains blocked until you request it.
How requests are handled
Form submissions are emailed to Imago. Contact form attachments are added to the email; the application does not keep a separate attachment archive. The newsletter form emails a request to Imago; subscribers and newsletter delivery are managed through Mailchimp, without an automatic connection between the form and the platform. Sending a contact enquiry does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
Newsletter and Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp, provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC (part of Intuit, United States), to manage subscriber addresses and send commercial updates. We process your email address, subscription, consent and unsubscription information and any identifying details you provide. Newsletter consent is optional and separate from contact requests and website cookie preferences.
Campaigns use open and click measurement features: an invisible image (pixel) and tracked links can record delivery, opening and interaction with messages, including date, time and technical data such as IP address and device. Using individual open and click tracking to measure campaigns requires prior informed consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code) expressly covering this purpose; accepting website statistics does not constitute consent to email tracking. You have the right to refuse or withdraw tracking without giving up the newsletter. Email protection systems may distort these measurements, which do not always demonstrate that a message was actually read.
You may unsubscribe through the link in messages or by writing to privacy@imagovision.it; you may use the same address to withdraw measurement consent. Mailchimp acts as a processor for list management under its data processing agreement; for certain purposes of its own, it acts as a controller under the Intuit/Mailchimp privacy statement. See also the data processing agreement.
Processing methods and security
We process data electronically, restricting access to people who need it for the stated purposes. Forms use session protections, automated-submission checks and rate limits; the latter also use an identifier derived from the IP address. Data you submit voluntarily comes from you; technical data is generated through browsing and use of services. Send only data and attachments relevant to your enquiry and avoid unnecessary personal information about other people.
Recipients and processors
Data is processed by authorised Imago staff and, on the controller’s behalf, by the technical providers that host the website and manage email, appointed as processors. For statistics and external content the provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We also use Mailchimp for newsletters, as described in its dedicated section. Data may be disclosed to advisers and authorities where necessary for legal obligations or the protection of rights. Data is not published or sold. An updated list of processors can be requested from the controller.
Google Analytics 4
With your consent the website uses Google Analytics 4 (property G-C3YBR7JG6P), a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand in aggregate which pages are read and how to improve them. We also measure clicks towards contacts, on business email and telephone links, form starts and outcomes, case-study filters, demo openings and quality-policy downloads. These events contain only categories and public content references: we do not send visitor names or email addresses, messages, attachments or free-text searches. Enquiry source context is stored in the tab only with Statistics consent. Google receives the IP address during the connection; according to its service documentation, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store it. The website code disables Google Signals and ad personalisation: Imago does not use the data for advertising or profiling. User-level and event-level retention depends on the property settings (2 or 14 months in the standard version). This limit does not apply to standard aggregated reports. Cookie lifetime is separate from data retention on Google’s servers. The Google script loads only after consent and, if you withdraw it, the _ga cookies are deleted. More information: Google privacy policy and data protection in Google Analytics.
YouTube videos and Google map
Some pages may contain videos hosted on YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited. We use privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and the player loads only if you accepted “External content” or click “Load the video”. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and technical browser data and, during playback, may set cookies or use local storage; if you are signed in to a Google account, viewing may be linked to your account. Before loading, the website shows a local preview; without JavaScript a link to the video on YouTube is available. Likewise, the Google map on the Contacts page loads only after you click “Load the interactive map”. Google’s processing is governed by the Google privacy policy.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google may also process data in the United States. Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, part of Intuit) also processes data in the United States. For recipients and processing covered by an active certification, transfers rely on the adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); otherwise, relevant safeguards apply, including standard contractual clauses where provided for in the service agreements (Art. 46 GDPR). You may request information about applicable safeguards and a copy by writing to privacy@imagovision.it. Hosting and email providers process data under their own terms; contact the controller for information about any transfers.
How long we keep data
- Contact requests and attachments: for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting business relationship, and no longer than 24 months after the last contact if no relationship follows, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe. After unsubscription, only information needed to document your choices and prevent unwanted resubscription is retained for as long as needed for these purposes and the protection of rights; it is not used for further marketing messages.
- Newsletter measurement (opens, clicks and associated technical data): for as long as needed to evaluate the campaign and manage preferences. Withdrawal stops new measurement; identifiable data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, except for limited retention necessary to document consent or protect rights. The actual period also depends on campaign and report management in Mailchimp; you may request details from the controller.
- Browsing data in server logs: for the limited period set by the hosting provider, unless needed to investigate abuse or unlawful acts.
- Google Analytics: user-level and event-level data according to property settings (2 or 14 months in the standard version); the limit does not apply to standard aggregated reports. Cookies up to 2 years, with possible renewal on subsequent visits.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files that the website or third-party services store in your browser. localStorage keeps information in the browser across visits; sessionStorage keeps it within a tab until it closes. Preferences cover these technologies as well as cookies. We use technical cookies, which need no consent, and, only if you accept them, statistics and external-content cookies. On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject or choose by category; until you choose, no non-essential cookie is used, and your choice is asked again after 182 days (about 6 months). You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer of every page.

| Google Maps cookies | Displaying the interactive map on the Contacts page | As set out in Google’s policy | Click on “Load the interactive map” |
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website sets no advertising or profiling cookies of its own.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Write to privacy@imagovision.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante). We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.
How to exercise your rights
Requests are normally free of charge and answered without undue delay, within one month. Where necessary due to complexity or the number of requests, this may be extended by two further months: we inform you within the first month and explain why. If there are reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask only for information necessary to verify it. Manifestly unfounded or excessive requests are subject to Art. 12 GDPR.
Rights apply under the conditions of Arts. 15–22 GDPR: portability concerns data you provided and processed automatically on the basis of consent or a contract; you may object to legitimate-interest processing on grounds relating to your situation. You may always withdraw consent or object to direct marketing, including related profiling, free of charge and without giving reasons. Erasure and objection do not prevent retention necessary for legal obligations or the protection of rights.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when the website’s services change. If purposes or services change, we provide information before the new processing and request fresh consent where required. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
