The challenge

On a plastic part’s outline, excess and missing material change shape in opposite ways. The customer needed to inspect the component edge even when its presence and overall dimensions appeared correct.

The inspection

Imago checks the part outline for projections and missing sections against its specified shape. Inspection concerns visible edge irregularities, including local differences affecting only a small part of the outline.
