Sticks: geometry, pad printing and flocking

Height, bending, diameters, pad printing, dark spots and flocking regularity on biomedical sticks.

The component

The stick has shape, print and coating characteristics. An out-of-limit diameter or bend concerns geometry; displaced pad printing affects the printed mark; irregular flocking changes the coating’s appearance.

What we inspect

Imago measures height, bending and diameter at several points. It checks pad printing, looks for dark spots on the material and inspects flocking in the specified areas. Inspection therefore covers stick dimensions, printed-mark position and quality and visible coating condition.
