Die castings: hole, lever, edge and print integrity

Holes, levers, pins, edges and print on a complex casting, with checks for burrs, cracks and breaks.

To protect customer confidentiality, the component image has been edited using artificial intelligence and does not exactly reproduce its original geometry.

The component

The component combines thin features, openings and printed areas. A hole can have a non-conforming contour; a lever or pin can present shape anomalies. Burrs and breaks affect material continuity at edges and part features.

What we inspect

Imago checks openings, inner and outer contours, levers and pins in specified areas. Inspection includes visible burrs, cracks and breaks in the casting. Print checks examine the references present on the surface, covering marking characteristics alongside geometry.
