Medical bags: insertion, cutting, print and barcodes

Tube insertion, cutting, text, batch information, expiry dates and barcodes on medical bags.

The component

The bag combines assembled features and printed information. The tube needs the specified insertion; cutting areas and closure features have shapes requiring checks. The substrate also carries text, codes and product information.

What we inspect

Imago checks insertion, the tab and cutting and examines the twist-off feature areas. Print inspection covers text, character integrity, barcodes, batch information and expiry dates against the specified references. Checks therefore cover bag assembly, feature shape and printed content.
