Die castings: flash, holes and profile ovality

Flash, ovality, holes and surface anomalies on the same die casting.

The die casting

The die-cast outline may have excess material or an oval shape. Openings and surfaces have their own requirements alongside the outer profile.

The checks

Imago searches for edge flash, evaluates ovality and checks holes and surfaces. Profile deviations are assessed against the required shape, while local material irregularities are examined in the specified part areas.
