Product in-line control and automatic management of the production process
Towards a fully controlled and automated drawing process, Imago has designed innovative and efficient control devices to constantly maintain high production standards. Operating in-line and without contact, these systems interact to monitor the entire production process and act on the parameters of the various line components, respecting the cycle time. Thanks to the always available production data, it is possible to intervene in real time in case of drifts and repeated errors due to variables on the machinery.

Eagle Die Inspection Machine

Dimensional control and cleaning of extrusion dies

> Verifies the dimensional compliance of the extrusion shapes, the integrity of the dies and detects the presence of unwanted residues.

Straightness control

> based on different levels of straightness, it discards the bars that do not meet the parameters and automatically acts on the Cross Roll Straightening Machine or on the die to improve production

Control of the cut bar ends

> Checks the regularity of the cut bar and detects the presence of bendings at the bar ends

> Checks the functionality of the first adjustment of the die and, if necessary, makes a second adjustment

> Acts on the straightener to refine the straightness of the bar

Eccentricity Control

> Checks for possible ovalization of the bar for a first adjustment of the die positioning

> Measures the bar diameter to set the format parameters

Chamfering Control

> Checks the centrality and regularity of the chamfering, and if necessary, it acts on the vertical motorization of the two Chamfering machines
